The other day I met up with a friend that I hadn’t seen in a long time because she had moved out of the States. I actually attended her wedding in London 22 years ago.
That trip was pivotal for me because the following fall I began my studies in Polarity Therapy, so I honored our visit as special.
My friend, a former new age book editor, and I talked about the evolvement my Polarity Wellness Tarot deck into my newly released book, Tarot and the Chakras and how the work related to body healing practices.
We jointly came to the conclusion that none of the Tarot cards even the Pentacles (Earth in the PWT), directly related to literal physical experiences.
Even the five is worrying about the result of physical ramifications, not the body itself. The nine is about enjoy physical resources. I suppose the pentacles could be loosely translated into a physical experience. But are they really about the body?
It is something to ponder, which in my mind leads to learning and understanding.
All the cards in the PWT deck relate to the body by way of their astrological attributions assimilating with Polarity’s astrological interpretations of anatomy. Corresponding Tarot to the body gives us ways to move stuck energy and balance the lessons presented by the cards.
