Gemini Tarot cards
The astrological sign of Gemini mainly rules in the month of June. People born under Gemini are quick, talkative, indecisive, adaptable, perceptive and friendly. It is the sign of the TWINS and duality. Many of my Gemini friends either cannot make up their minds or can think and focus in dept.
A main premise in my book “Tarot and the Chakras” is to point out the similarities of systems in order to open the use of Tarot (and the other systems) to seekers and body-based healers.
These days I am thinking about the dissimilarities. Discussing or contemplating differences can expand understanding in a creative way. Gemini is a perfect time to do that.
For instance, in Tarot the Lovers card corresponds to Gemini. The Lovers is the archetypical experience of relating to another person, many times in an intimate way. It is a union of opposites.
Gemini is also indicated in the 8, 9 10 of Air/Sword cards which are all challenging cards resulting from too much thinking. These Air/Sword cards appear to have no similarity to the Lover card. In fact they are opposite in meaning although what they have in common is to take things to heart.
The Heart and the Air Chakra are one in the same. Seemingly, the Heart Chakra has nothing to do the entire Air/Sword – Suit/Chakra. After contemplating this what made sense is that the heart is the first organ to develop in the human body and Air is the first bodily Element.
The art of the Air Element is dance.
If you find yourself picking a 8, 9 and 10 Air/Sword card, dancing might alleviate the challenges you are facing. On the other hand, if you pick the Lovers card, dance with your partner!
This can be confusing or fun. Take it if it connects and if it doesn’t, well then….dance!
