Swords/Air cards signify everything mental. They are our thoughts, ideas, contemplations and communication skills. In modern times, the Swords/Air cards have become related to computers and correspondences. They are most often depicted with swords as the elemental symbol, and sometimes with blades or, less often, with birds.  Movement, speed, and lightness are their characteristics. Swords/Air influence aspires to balance, justice, harmony and diplomacy.

Swords/Air cards are about logic and the way we internalize negative and/or positive thinking. Swords/Air is the suit that has the most so-called ‘negative’ cards. But it is also the suit that indicates thought patterns, which are the easiest patterns to change.

Swords/Air suit is about the way we make decisions and the ways in which we think. Change your thoughts; change your life. Most of our internal battles have to do with the way we think about things. Swords/Air cards can invoke curiosity, cleverness, apathy, or boredom.
