Tarot in Motion takes the message of the Tarot a step further than Tarot alone, by helping you get present and mindful in your body while embracing the awareness presented by the cards you have pulled.
The structure of your movement pieces are based on relating systems of your chosen cards, correlating to anatomical focal points based on Polarity Therapy, your chakras, qualities of related elements, movement pace, and, most importantly, the meaning of the card.
“There is something in picking a Tarot card and focusing on it and then putting it to movement that is freeing. For several sessions I kept picking Sword cards, at this time I was taking care of my mother, I keep trying to mentally figure out the best ways to take care of her.
After her death, two times in a row I pulled the Chariot card! When I danced out the card, it felt wild and out of control. I could barely hold the reins. The second time I already felt much freer, and I was surprised at the transformation in my outlook toward her death. Both times I felt a growing feeling I was charting a new direction with the Chariot card and I was standing on my own.”
