Understanding Ayurveda
To understand Polarity Therapy and then to understand Tarot & the Chakras, it is helpful to begin with Ayurveda. AYURVEDA is the ancient holistic science of healing from India.
The Famous Polarity Man
One of my favorite charts of Polarity Therapy is “The Polarity Man”. The founder of Polarity Therapy, Dr. Randolph Stone, DO, DC, ND (1890 1981), works were…..
Major Arcana Cards
The PWT system breaks the Major Arcana cards to more easily comprehended into sub categories. Yet still relates them to elements and body parts.
Air/Sword Cards
Swords/Air cards signify everything mental. They are our thoughts, ideas, contemplations and communication skills.
Fire/Wand Cards
Wands/Fire cards are creative and intuitive. They are about spontaneity and insight. They can be associated with focusing energy and is the active, driving force behind anything we do.
Water/Cup Cards
Cups/Water cards are about emotions, relationships and human feelings. Cups/Water indicators are mainly about love relationships. They signify connecting, flowing and nurturing.
Earth/Pentacle Cards
Earth/Pentacle Cards are everything physical or literal. They are about work, money issues and structure. They put everything into practical perspective
Elemental Spread
When I first started reading Tarot cards, I was taught this 4 card elemental spread.
I continued to use it when I went on to study Polarity Therapy; it fit right into the four elements, and inspired me to continue to synthesize systems.

Explaining Tarot in Motion™
Tarot in Motion™ is a new way I have developed and deepen the practice of Tarot. It has come through my own understanding of both Tarot and somatic awareness. When we are in our bodies, we receive a kind of understanding, which is deeply felt, permeating our whole awareness: body, mind, and spirit.
The Ether Element
In metaphysical wisdom systems Ether is most often equated with space itself. The Ether Element is unique in that it is not associated with one particular zodiac sign. It is associated with the entire wheel of the zodiac, and all elements are expressed through this realm.
The Air Element
The Air Element is the lightest of the Four Active Elements. It is linked to movement, quickness and agility. It is quick versus stagnant. The Air Element rules our thoughts.
The Fire Element
Fire is the sun, the energy that sustains everything living. The basic qualities of the Fire element are obviously heat, brightness and clarity. Fire is compelling.
The Water Element
The Water Element conveys our ability to be receptive, to flow, and be flexible. Water is nurturing and facilitates making connections. It is about cyclical energies. Water receives and accepts all things.
The Earth Element
Earth is energy manifested into form, and defines boundaries. Earth Element is slow and patient. Earth is also solid, secure and grounded. This element defines our boundaries.
